The Solitude Collection was idealized by thinking beyond what a normal shoot may look like. This collection was created to blend the elements of editorial magazine and high fashion into a cohesive collection. A single figure, a timeless look, a luxury feel. A sense of individuality.
The Idea originally came when sifting through a series of timeless portraits taken of Roger Federer, taken by photographer Lachlan Bailey. It gave me the idea to capture portraits that embodied a timeless shoot that a high fashion brand or even a luxury car company would capture as a part of a campaign.
Going into this shoot I already new I wanted a mixture of black and white images. Usually I colour grade my photos in colour. However this time I wanted to experiment with B&W. I felt it would give the photos a sense of luxury and create unique feeling for my viewer.
