Shot in Alameda, CA, 2025, this project celebrates my friends Walden and Maggie’s six-month anniversary — a gathering of close friends and family that I was both invited to and had the honor of documenting. Blending Indian traditions with Japanese and American roots, their celebration reflected a marriage that is as cross-cultural as it is deeply personal. Through shared rituals, laughter, and quiet connection, the work captures not just an event, but the intimacy of being present within it — an intersection of heritage, love, and friendship.
